The rich history of Ayurveda dates back to more than 5000 years. ‘Ayur’ in Sanskrit is longevity what is compare to life and Veda is knowledge, the science -‘Ayurveda’ is the science of life. Concept of Ayurveda is that life is influenced by a lot of factors, both external and internal. The surroundings that is the environment, the moving planets that is the astrology, the food, the mindset, the perspectives, the traits and behaviour, and a lot of other petty things impact life. Life, consisting of mind, soul and body is not in balance with each other. The harmony is lost. Aligning the three major aspects, the mind, body and soul is what Ayurveda is all about.
The internal and external factors, in the age old days were explained in the sacred Vedas. The procedural instructions mentioned in the Vedas having studied and followed eventually brought in the remedies and theories. And Ayurvedic treatments followed. And then evolved the great principles and processes. Today the modern Ayurveda with its new momentum has become the driving force for all caste, creed and sex. With great demand from people across the globe, Ayurveda has been setting the bar for the mankind. With the relentless pursuit towards improvisation Ayurveda has entered in all facets of life benchmarking its services in weight reduction, stress management, diabetics, arthritis, and many more.
Ayurveda is a science that calls every individual to live in perfect harmony with environment. And unlike allopathic treatment, where one finds immediate relief Ayurveda is a healing process treated through herbal remedies, practices such as Yoga and Exercise, as well as other methods, such as astrology and dietary therapy.
